Every skin-scan app does one-time snapshots; Skyn's whole point is the trajectory. You photograph your face daily, GPT-4.1 Vision analyzes eight parameters — acne, pores, hydration, texture, pigmentation, redness, wrinkles, dark circles — and the app tracks change over weeks: 'your redness decreased 22% since you started niacinamide.' Because face photos are the most intimate data a user can give, privacy is the architecture: images live in owner-scoped Supabase storage buckets, and analysis runs through an Edge Function proxy that discards the transient request image, so raw photos never sit on a third-party server.
