About the product

Recite operationalizes active recall, the study method that actually works: you explain a topic out loud, on-device speech turns it into text, and an AI grader scores your answer and surfaces exactly what you forgot. The Screen Time API shields distracting apps while a session is running, so focus is enforced, not just suggested. Behind it is a Supabase Postgres backend with row-level security and a grading pipeline I designed myself. It's live on the App Store with paying subscribers and a download-to-paid conversion several times the indie average.
