About the product

PayControl is a family budgeting and allowance platform I delivered for a client, building both halves of the product myself. The backend is a production-grade Python service: FastAPI over PostgreSQL, live Plaid bank connections for real account and transaction data, Alembic-managed migrations, structlog logging, dependency-injected services, and a pytest suite kept above 80% coverage. On top of it sits a native SwiftUI app with secure token handling and keychain storage. This is the project where fintech-grade discipline matters most — money flows, sensitive credentials, and zero room for sloppy security — and it shipped as one coherent system from a single pair of hands.
