About the product

Lab+ is an AI-assisted experimental-design validation platform for researchers: a second set of eyes before a plan goes to a supervisor or burns through reagents. I built it for submission to the startup program of one of the most prestigious molecular-biology faculties, shaped around the real experimental workflows researchers run there. Rather than a science chatbot, it's a structured system: guided inputs become persistent experiment objects, deterministic validation rules flag missing controls and confounders, statistical-planning support estimates sample sizes and test choices, and an explicit scoring model rates the design. The iOS app sits over a Supabase Postgres backend I designed around those rules, blending hard logic with AI reasoning so the advice is auditable, not just plausible.
